Morning Sickness Cures – Help Is Here!

Morning sickness sucks! We all know that… and having suffered through morning sickness before myself I decided enough was enough. Pregnancy is suppose to be an enjoyable experience but it was far from that for me.

Hi, my name is Jamie Deans and I am now the  proud mother of two beautiful girls and can honestly say that my second pregnancy was a breeze compared to my first.

My morning sickness was so bad in my first pregnancy that i decided to research the net and find every possible remedy before having my second child. In the first trimester of my second pregnancy I was a little sick but managed to control my morning sickness with a lot of the products i discovered in my research.

These morning sickness cures saved me a lot of heartache and I was able to enjoy my second pregnancy (I just wish someone would have shared these cures with me in my first pregnancy… ah well…)

But fear not… I will share them with you :)  Your obviously here because you maybe suffering from morning sickness so I wont go on any longer boring you with my story. Instead I will give you a nice list of all the morning sickness cures that I researched a little while ago and hopefully they will help you on your journey to having a great “sick-free” pregnancy… fingers crossed and good luck!!!

Here’s what I found out…

Learning Acupressure Rocks!!!

Seriously girls, this is probably number one on my list of morning sickness cures. It’s basically an eastern medicine technique that has been used for thousands of years with awesome and quick success. I was a bit skeptical at first but after I gave it a go I was dumbfounded on how quick and effective acupressure is in relieving morning sickness.  And its not even that hard to learn!

Here are some fantastic guides that helped me perfect the acupressure technique…

End Morning Sickness E-book guide by Clair Batten (Occupational Therapist and Alternative Therapist).

Morning Sickness Freedom guide by Mary Kinsey.

Morning Sickness Magic is Magic!

This dietary supplement is fantastic! I took these easy to swallow capsules right through my second pregnancy. They not only help with morning sickness but they  also include other ingredients that help provide important maternal and prenatal nutrients for you and your baby. These are recommended by many obstetricians…

Here’s where you can get some…

Wearing Bio Bands, Sea Bands and Psi-bands Help.

Sort of similar to the acupressure technique accept you use a band instead of your fingers to tap into your pressure points on your wrist and hand to help alleviate morning sickness. These bands are great in relieving nausea and any type of motion sickness. I found them very useful but found that using my fingers instead to tap into the pressure points (as learnt in the the guides above) seemed to relieve my nausea a lot quicker.

Here is where you can try the bands out…

Sea Bands

Psi Bands

Ginger! Ginger ! Ginger!

I’ll say it one more time… Ginger! This is natures gift to us ladies suffering from morning sickness. The remedial qualities of this great food source are endless in particular when it comes to alleviating nausea. You can get it in many forms but my favorite is in sweets (tastes yummy!) :)

Here are some of my favorite ginger sweets… enjoy!

Ginger Honey Crystals For Your Tea!

Ginger Chews

Anti-nausea Ginger Gum

Preggie Pops, Drops and B Natal Pops and Lozenges.

Lots of pops, ops and drops there…! Anyway, these are more sweets that are filled with nausea relieving ingredients and essential oils. They come in many different flavors and most of them taste great and do the job.

Try them out here…

Preggie Drops

B Natal Thera Pops

B Natal Lozenges

Morning Wellness Tea Settles the Tummy!

I found this tea quite helpful when I had a queasy tummy. Helped me settle right down. Its a blend of 100% organic herbs including ginger and a cup of this first thing in the morning goes a long way in keeping you settled for most of the day.

Get your tea here…

Morning Wellness Tea

All these morning sickness cures worked for me. Some better than others. The important thing to remember is that every lady is an individual. Some morning sickness remedies might work better for you and others for somebody else. Just keep trying till you find something that works best for you. Just don’t give up hope! I wish you all the best on your journey and hope that you find “morning sickness freedom” just like I did :)

Feel free to leave your experiences and comments below.

Lots of love,

Jamie Deans :)

I was having pretty bad morning sickness, but I bought the seasick bracelet, very inexpensive, and it kind of helped with it. I tried ginger and it didn’t work.
